Actor and comedian Patton Oswalt has so declared that President Trump and any and all of his supporters are “stupid a**holes.”
Oswalt made the remarks in a rant on Twitter Thursday in response to President Trump mocking teen climate activist Greta Thunberg, who was named TIME’s 2019 “Person of the Year” this week.
He wrote in a tweet that, “The President is a stupid a--hole and if you voted for him you’re a stupid a--hole and if you still support him you’re a stupid a—hole.”
Then, unapologetically, he added, “Oh no this Tweet is going to make all the stupid a--holes not like me waaaaah.”
When confronted by a user on Twitter who said that he isn’t a supporter of Trump but felt that “calling everyone who voted for him an asshole is very presumptuous," Oswalt replied, sarcastically, “[O]h no my career what have i done.”
He’s not the first nor the last celebrity or public figure to group all Trump supporters together and attack their character and/or intelligence (*cough* Hillary Clinton's "deplorables" remarks).
Star Wars’ star Daisy Ridley in an interview earlier this week suggested that only insane people support or do not have an issue with President Trump.
