Democrat congresswoman Alexadria-Ocasio-Cortez is out in full defense of her fellow socialist “Squad” member, Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar – this time, to accuse members of AOC’s own Democratic Caucus of siccing a lynch mob on Omar.
First, the backstory: Omar is under fire from her fellow congressional libs for openly comparing the United States and Israel to terrorist groups including Hamas and the Taliban.
“We have seen unthinkable atrocities committed by the U.S., Hamas, Israel, Afghanistan, and the Taliban,” Omar tweeted Monday following a meeting with Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, during which Omar pressed him to investigate potential human rights abuses by Israel against Palestinians after the Iron Dome defended itself from a barrage of rocket attacks last month.
“We must have the same level of accountability and justice for all victims of crimes against humanity,” Omar added.
The comments drew ire not only from Republicans, but also Democrats who’ve apparently gotten sick and tired of Omar’s repeatedly throwing shade on the U.S. and Israel while giving a wink and a nod to Muslim terrorist groups in the Middle East. IN response, a group of 12 Jewish House Democrats slammed Omar’s words as “offensive” – which, of course, Omar responded to by accusing her colleagues of “harassment” and using “Islamophobic tropes.”
Poor baby.
Now, AOC is alleging her fellow Democrats are actually putting Omar at risk of violence by calling out her vile statements publicly instead of having “private conversations.”

They have no concept for the danger they put her in by skipping private conversations & leaping to fueling targeted news cycles around her.
Fellow “Squad” member Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib joined the badly harmonized chorus, tweeting:

Interestingly, it doesn’t seem to matter that Omar continually dumps fuel on the raging fire of anti-Semitism by accusing Israel of committing human rights violations by defending themselves from terrorist attacks, even as violent attacks on Jews in the United States continue to climb at a rapid pace.
After all, it’s Omar’s feelings we should really worry about, here.
