There are some sick people out there, but when a person has the combination of sick and stupid, all bets are off.

A 16-year-old boy -- and I refuse to call him a young man, as the New York Post did -- decided it would be a good idea to blast the 1988 NWA song “F*** the Police” within earshot of thousands of police officers attending the funeral of slain NYPD Officer Miosotis Familia, who was senselessly shot to death by cop-hater Alexander Bonds while she sat in her squad car on July 5.

Julien Rodriguez claims that he played the song because his brother and best friend were both “unjustifiably killed by cops.”

“Since they did not show respect for my brother and my friend, why should I show respect to them?” Rodriguez told the Post.

According to the New York Post:

About 20 officers went up to the apartment to try to halt the music, with one cop speaking to the teen in Spanish about his own time growing up as a Latino in the city, law enforcement sources said.

The teen told The Post that he eventually apologized to the cops — but only because the building super threatened to toss his family out of their home if he didn’t.

“I apologized because it was between the house and apologizing,” Rodriguez claimed.

What a slime ball.

Rodriguez admitted to the Post that he hates police before giving a half-assed statement of remorse for Familia.

“I feel sympathy for that, because all she was trying to do was take bad people off the street,” the child said. “It was wrong because she did not do anything wrong, but at the same time, my bro and my best friend died for no reason.”

One officer said Rodriguez's behavior, while vile, is no different than the kind of attitude police officers encounter on a daily basis.

“This is the s*** we face every day,” he said.

Whether someone hates cops or not, there is a little thing called decorum and respect. Rodriguez apparently has neither of these, and his parents -- assuming he has any -- obviously missed the "respect" lesson during parenting.
