North Korean Spox Threatens the U.S. Over Trump's State Of the Union

Looks like “Lil’ Kim” wasn’t too pleased with last week’s State of the Union address by President Trump. North Korea’s foreign ministry spokesman said Sunday that the Trump’s speech was the “height of arrogance,” according to South Korea’s Yonhap News Agency.

Trump’s speech — which saw overwhelming support from viewers — drew the ire of the North Korean government after saying that “no regime has oppressed its own citizens more totally or brutally than the cruel dictatorship in North Korea.”

Yeah, that probably smarts. The truth hurts.

“The whole world is deeply concerned, seeing as an omen of new disaster the address of Trump who asserted 'America First' and 'unmatched power' based on nuclear weapons while forcing other countries to submit themselves to the U.S. chauvinistic interest,” the spokesman told the Korean Central News Agency.

Is the whole world concerned, or is North Korea continuing its propagandist, Napoleonic complex mentality because the U.S. isn’t putting up with their garbage anymore?

The North Korean spokesman also hypocritically spoke about Trump address in general.

“Trump described last year as a year fully recorded with incredible progress and extraordinary success," the spokesman said, according to Yonhap News Agency. "This is indeed the height of Trump-style arrogance, arbitrariness and self-conceit.”

The spokesman even went so far as to issue a veiled threat to Trump and the U.S.

“If Trump does not get rid of his anachronistic and dogmatic way of thinking,” the spokesman said, “it will only bring about the consequence of further endangering security and future of the United States.”

The trash talking between the Trump administration and North Korean officials looks like it’s regaining some steam just ahead of this week’s Olympic opening ceremonies in South Korea.
