A photo showing an encounter between a college student and a local Florida cop has gone viral, and for good reason.
Justine Tucker went to Zaxby's for dinner with her husband Cameron in Deland, Fla., last week and were approached by a young college student by the name of Juan.
Juan asked if he could pray over Cameron, who works for the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office and was in uniform at the time.
“Tonight was a night that I will never forget,” Justine Tucker wrote in a Facebook post where she shared a photo of the moving moment. “This picture is a reminder of God’s constant love and perfect timing.”
“After crying my eyes out we got to have an amazing conversation with this gentleman,” she continued. “He was on FIRE for God and you could feel His presence in the room. He said that he had felt compelled to talk to us and to pray over Cameron.”
According to Fox News, “O’Neal, a student at Stetson University in DeLand and a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, often posts on social media about his religious views. He has shared several videos of original songs he's written promoting Christian values.”
O'Neal has his own SoundCloud account where he shares his songs.
The photo of their encounter has since garnered over 43,000 likes, 4,100 comments and 21,000 shares, with many praising it as testimony of God’s love and the good in people.
"This is what this Entire Country NEEDS Juan, Thank You," wrote one Facebook user.
"What a great thing to see in this day and time," wrote another.
