It looks like the XFL or CFL are the only leagues still available for unemployed quarterback and for-profit activist to possibly play football in again, because it looks as though the NFL is done with him.

At the National Football League (NFL) owners’ meeting in Irving, Texas  on Wednesday, Commissioner Roger Goodell answered a question about Kaepernick in the wake of his failed workout in November. Goodell essentially put the blame on Kaepernick for not taking advantage of the opportunities given to him.

“This was ... about creating an opportunity, which Colin's representatives came out in early October and we created that opportunity,” Goodell said, according to CNN. “It was a unique opportunity -- an incredible opportunity and he chose not to take it. I understand that. And we've moved on here.”

Ouch. But Goodell, for once, isn’t wrong.

By now, most of us know how Kaepernick got himself into this situation, and probably less know about his tryout that he was gifted by the NFL — which he also chose to ruin himself. Hopefully, Goodell's statement means we can stop talking about this clown, but I doubt it.
