A new group unimaginateively titled "Stop Kavanaugh," part of the larger "Demand Justice" initiative, aims to do exactly what its name implies: prevent the appointment of Trump’s Supreme Court nominee.

But what is the liberal media not telling us? That the group that funds it is filled to the brim with George Soros' money.

The Daily Caller’s investigative team found that "Demand Justice" is being funded through a 501(c)(4) called the Sixteen Thirty Fund. Between 2012 and 2016, that 501(c)(4) received about $2.2 million from Soros’ Open Society Policy Center.

“The Center gave the Fund $350,000 in 2012; $772,000 in 2013; $125,000 in 2014; $550,000 in 2015; and $481,483 in 2016," the report found.

Soros is able to move donation money through back channels in order to maintain secrecy.

The Open Society Policy Center doesn’t technically have any employees. The Center’s 501(c)(3) branch, the Open Society Foundations, which is used to funnel money to leftist organizations and is completely tax-exempt, perform services for the Center.

For its part, "Demand Justice" aims to “change minds and sensitize rank-and-file progressives to think of the courts as a venue for their activism and a way to advance the progressive agenda,” according to leader Brian Fallon, who's also a former Hillary Clinton spokesman.

On their website, "Demand Justice" smears Judge Kavanaugh calling him a “threat” to healthcare and women’s rights, and even labeling him “Trump’s rubber stamp.”

But this isn’t their first smear campaign of a federal judge.

In May, the National Review reported that Demand Justice was running a smear campaign against Judge Thomas Farr, who Trump nominated to a seat in the Eastern District of North Carolina that's been vacant since 2005.
