Nancy Pelosi Criticizes AOC, Tlaib, and Omar - Twitter War Ensues

Nancy Pelosi, after a long and arduous fight with Republicans, relented on a key border issue last month, allowing a $4.6 billion emergency-disaster-aid bill to pass through the House.

Already fraught relations with more extreme House progressives only intensified after the incident, leading to a Cold War of sorts between Pelosi and others.

Most prominent among low-boiling feuds was that of Pelosi v. "The Squad", a group of seemingly radical, freshman progressive stars who consist of Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), and Ayanna Pressley (D-MA).

Well, the Cold War turned hot after Pelosi, angered by "The Squad" voting against the emergency-disaster-aid bill, questioned their real influence.

“All these people have their public whatever and their Twitter world,” Pelosi told the New York Times. “But they didn’t have any following. They’re four people and that’s how many votes they got.”

As the soul for the Democratic Party wages, Pelosi seems all-too-keen to dismiss her radical counterparts, while The Squad continues to insist that they, not the moderates, are the future.
