In the wake of two tragic mass shootings in El Paso and Dayton which have left dozens dead and more injured, emotions in the United States are raw, with many outraged at the nation’s gun laws. This has led some to embrace the ugliest and worst elements of American politics.

In the wake of this outrage, dozens of left-wing protestors gathered outside of Mitch McConnell’s (R-KY) Kentucky home where the Senate Majority Leader was nursing a broken shoulder he had received after falling Sunday.

Though authorities initially thought the Sunday night protest was entirely peaceful, this was soon shown to be demonstrably false after Facebook live video, among other sources, were aggregated to the general public.

According to the New York Post:

“Murder Turtle!” the demonstrators can be heard shouting on video, in reference to McConnell’s infamous nickname.

“Come out, come out, wherever you are,” a person says at one point, while the others continue to yell.

“The bitch home — we keep seeing the lights go on and off,” another says. “This hoe really thought he was going to get ready to be at home after he hurt his little punk ass shoulder. Bitch, don’t nobody give a f–k! F–k your thoughts and prayers, Mitch. F–k you, f–k your wife, f–k everything you stand for. ”

Protestors can also be heard on video saying: “Hopefully there’s somebody out there with some voodoo dolls of these bitches,” and “Just stab the motherf–ker in the heart, please.”

The ironic thing is, the protestors who are hurling death threats at a prominent political leader are also likely the same people who would argue that guns are unnecessary for self-defense purposes.
