More Media Delusions: Trump Is ‘A Russian Operative’

Eric Scheiner | February 21, 2020

In this week’s Wacky Moments of Liberal Expression:

The media attempted to come to grips with their deluded love for convicted extortionist Michael Avenatti. CNN host Brian Stelter finally admitted that praising lawyer Michael Avenatti (A.K.A creepy porn lawyer) as a “serious” contender for 2020 wasn’t a smart move. He asked his Reliable Sources panel, “So, give me a media critique. Was that stupid on my part?” Yes, it was.

Stelter’s praise for Avenatti proved to be as deluded as the leftist media hype given to Michael Bloomberg. The media didn’t want to focus on his questionable quotes from the past, instead praising his “surge” to the debate.

CNN conceded Bloomberg’s “surge” came to crashing end after he attended the Democratic Presidential debate. Van Jones compared Bloomberg to the Titanic.

Will Millennials even turnout to vote for this crop of Democrats? An MSNBC guest is unsure, since Obama turned “voting into an act of love.”

MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell really went delusional this week. Long after the Mueller Report fizzled, O'Donnell took the latest newspaper scribbings of conspiracy theory and concluded for his network's rabid Democrat audience: "The president is a Russian operative." Based on his interpretations of reports involving the recurring “unnamed sources” that the media loves.
