Well, that escalated quickly.
After a group of militiamen took over an abandoned building in a wildlife refuge, American television personality Montel Williams was quick to propose a solution to the non-violent standoff: MAKE IT SUPER VIOLENT!
In a series of tweets sent out Sunday morning, Williams urged the National Guard to go in with guns blazing and simply kill the heavily armed followers of Ammon Bundy, referring to them as "terrorists" and comparing them to ISIS:
Brilliant strategy, Montel.
While Bundy and his rag tag militia pals may be misguided and breaking the law, they have not engaged in any violence towards anyone. Could there be anything dumber than sending in our brave men and women of the National Guard to try and instigate a shootout in which countless lives could needlessly be lost on both sides?
