Have you ever subjected yourself to the rhetoric, narratives and agendas the radical media puts out there when it comes to their coverage of the COVID-19 pandemic? God bless you for being brave enough to do so, because it increasingly seems as if said media doesn’t have your best interests at heart — as if that’s really that much of a surprise.

Author and senior editor at The Federalist Mollie Hemingway went on Fox News’ “Spin Cycle” on Sunday to talk about the constant and ever-changing criticisms the radical media give to President Donald Trump in his handling of the pandemic.

Hemingway broke down how this pandemic has affected the American people compared to the Asian flu in 1957 and the Spanish flu in 1918 before making an observation about the media themselves.

“In 1957, there was some moderate reaction to it, as in schools might close for a few days here or there,” Hemingway said. “But you didn’t see this kind of nationwide panic inducement that you’re seeing with the coverage of this, where they’re almost like rooting for the virus to win over and against America.”

As radical as the media have become — even more than they were pre-pandemic — their coverage of this sometimes makes even rational people think that the media want this virus to continue and affect as many people and American institutions as possible.

The radical media fight the president at every turn no matter how positive a specific move Trump’s administration might make concerning the pandemic.
