Political pundit Milo Yiannopoulos has been permanently banned from Twitter. This isn’t the first time the conservative has had a run-in with the social media site.

An actress from the new "Ghostbusters" remake, Leslie Jones, seemed to be slightly triggered by Milo’s tweets that criticized her acting abilities, so she reported him

Reality check, Jones, not everyone is going to love you and think you are going to be the next Audrey Hepburn. But you reacted in a way that most people would expect a sensitive little leftist snowflake to react. So I’m not surprised one bit.

From Breitbart:

Jones did not take kindly to this, tweeting that not only had she blocked Milo (despite tweeting a mere three hours earlier that she was no longer going to be blocking people) but she had also reported his account….

Jones went on to call one of Milo’s supporters a “racist b*tch* after he suggested that comedians shouldn’t try curtail free speech.

It is exceptionally shocking that a comedian would want to censor free speech. They often make fun of and technically criticize other people, so this backlash sets a precedence that similar rhetoric, serious or not, should not be allowed.

He continued to tweet at Jones and ridicule her inability to accept disapproval.

But, of course, it’s all fun and games until someone gets hurt. Or when then Twitter CEO @jack decides to jump in and throw Milo off Twitter.

The CEO personally reached out to Jones:

We are smart enough to put two and two together.

The social media site has received immense criticism via tweets from First Amendment supporters, including the hashtag #FreeMilo. The hashtag has been trending over the last few hours. And, of course, some people have been expressing their acceptance of the gay conservative being banned Twitter services.

One user put it perfectly:

Keep in mind, Twitter acounts sympathetic to ISIS continue to use the site to recruit fighters, but you don’t see those accounts being banned as quickly.

In a comment to Breitbart, Milo stated, “With the cowardly suspension of my account, Twitter has confirmed itself as a safe space for Muslim terrorists and Black Lives Matter extremists, but a no-go zone for conservatives.”

“Like all acts of the totalitarian regressive left, this will blow up in their faces, netting me more adoring fans. We’re winning the culture war, and Twitter just shot themselves in the foot... This is the end for Twitter. Anyone who cares about free speech has been sent a clear message: you’re not welcome on Twitter.”
