Marvel Comics is set to unveil a new gay version of their iconic Captain America just in time for “Pride Month.”
To top off the franchise’s intentional push for more "wokeness," the character has been designed by a transgender artist – just to make sure the “right” kind of person gets to take credit for the new character rewrite.
According to the Blaze, the character will appear in a new comic book lineup called, "The United States of Captain America,” which will reportedly feature multiple fictional characters taking on the mantle of Captain America. The first to do so will be a gay teen named Aaron Fischer, a character inspired by "activists, leaders, and everyday folks pushing for a better life” who stands up for the homeless and marginalized, says designer Jan Bazaldua.
"While I was drawing him, I thought, well, Cap fights against super-powerful beings and saves the world almost always, but Aaron helps those who walk alone in the street with problems that they face every day," Bazaldua said.

Because, as everyone knows, the reason we turn to superheroes is to watch them struggle with everyday problems in the name of "inclusivity." Perhaps next, Marvel can publish a story about a single mom superhero tackling an ever-mounting pile of bills.
The new series’ first installment will hit the shelves on June 2 to kick off “Pride Month.”
