Conservative radio talk show host Mark Levin on “Hannity” Monday night slammed the Obama administration for doing “more to interfere in the [2016 presidential] election than … Putin.”

He blasted former FBI Director James Comey and fired former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe as “bad cops” whom he said politicized the bureau, hindering certain investigations such as the one into Hillary Clinton’s private email server and facilitating others such as the investigation into then-candidate Donald Trump and his campaign’s alleged ties to Russia.

“What’s happening here is … the director of the FBI Comey and the deputy director McCabe, these were bad cops,” he said. “They were politicizing the FBI, they were obstructing certain investigations, they were pressing their foot on the gas pedal for other investigations. They are bad cops.”

Levin said that despite everything being said by the “liars” in the media criticizing the Trump administration for McCabe's firing on Friday, it would have been a “terrific miscarriage of justice” had Attorney General Jeff Sessions not done so.

He added that the decision was suggested by folks in the Office of Professional Responsibility who are professional non-partisan civil servants, not political pawns.

“Trump had nothing to do with it. They wouldn’t care what Trump had to say anyway,” said Levin.
