A recent Gallup poll finds that a majority of registered U.S. voters (52 percent) agree with Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump that the media is biased in favor of his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton.

Meanwhile, eight percent say the media favors Trump and 38 percent perceive no bias toward either candidate.

Along party lines, four out of five Republicans (80 percent) believe the media is biased toward Clinton.

Most Democrats (63 percent) say there is no bias toward either candidate. Even so, 25 percent of Democrats polled say the media is biased in favor of Clinton.
