John Beatty of the Loudoun County School Board says he’s aware the media is blacking out coverage on the alleged rape of a young girl by a “trans” student in a school bathroom.

“I think that it's because it doesn't go with the narrative,” Beatty told MRCTV.

“Now there are certainly issues with student privacy. Title IX, due process considerations, but for it to not be widely reported on, I think that's a shame, because I imagine this is happening in schools all over the country and that it's something that parents need to be aware of. That their daughters and their sons are in positions where they could be taken advantage of sexually. And so it's important that parents know and their parents voices matter in these.”

NewsBusters has reported that ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, and MSNBC have been avoiding covering the story for days, despite angry parents and the father of the first victim speaking out against the board.
