And by "people," I mean the crazy left-wing crack-smokers currently mocking Mike Pence for being abundantly faithful to his wife (while they remain perfectly fine with Bill Clinton having gotten orally tiddled under the Resolute Desk by a definitely-not-his-wife temp in heels, of course).
Nutshell: the Washington Post ran a profile on the vice president’s wife, Karen, on Wednesday. The article briefly referenced a statement the couple gave back in 2002, when Mr. Pence explained he doesn’t eat meals alone with other women out of deference to his wife and his marriage. Nor, he added, does he go to events where alcohol is being served unless she's with him.
Here was my first thought: “Oh, how sweet and respectful!"
Here, apparently, was a liberal’s first thought: “WHAT A MYSOGINISTIC BACKWOODS RELIGIOUS SEXIST! KILL HIM WITH FIRE!”
Confused? Well, so was I, but here it is:

All this because 15 years ago, Mike Pence said he won’t dine alone with a woman who isn’t his wife. We used to call that basic decency.
