Tennis Legend Martina Navratilova Says Trans Women Competing Against Actual Women is 'Insane,' 'It's Cheating'

Men and women are different, and unless you begin giving your child puberty blocking drugs at an early age — which in my opinion is child abuse — a transgender woman will always have a distinct physical advantage over their actually female counterparts.

Tennis legend and LGBTQ advocate Martina Navratilova wrote an op-ed for the The Sunday Times of London where she said that trans women shouldn’t be allowed to compete with actual women because of the unlevel playing field it creates.

Here’s part of what Navratilova wrote:

Simply reducing hormone levels — the prescription most sports have adopted — does not solve the problem. A man builds up muscle and bone density, as well as a greater number of oxygen-carrying red blood cells, from childhood. Training increases the discrepancy. Indeed, if a male were to change gender in such a way as to eliminate any accumulated advantage, he would have to begin hormone treatment before puberty. For me, that is unthinkable.

Careful, Ms. Navratilova. The left doesn’t seem to like it when people break the trans debate down biologically.

Navratilova also wrote that allowing men, “who decide to be female,” to compete against women is “insane and it’s cheating.”

“…it is surely unfair on women who have to compete against people who, biologically, are still men,” Navratilova continued.

Navratilova makes a very good point, because it wasn’t all that long ago that major sports leagues outlawed all forms of “performance-enhancing drugs,” otherwise known as steroids. the reason for the ban being that it gave athletes who took steroids an unfair advantage against their opponents.

And what is the main component in steroids? The same hormone that gives men a natural physical advantage over women — testosterone.

So, in essence, what is the difference between a man gaining an unfair advantage over another man by using steroids and a biological male competing against women because of the way they “identify?”
