Leftists Melt Down After Democrats Announce They Will Fund Pro-Life Candidates

Yesterday, Rep. Ben Ray Luján, chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), told The Hill that the organization would not withhold support from pro-life Democratic candidates in 2018

Not surprisingly, this made some leftists very angry. 

Of course, feminists and pro-abortion crusaders like NARAL Pro-Choice America were peeved. These organizations all view abortion paradoxically as a human right. NARAL President Ilyse Hogue went on a lengthy Twitter rant right after the news broke. Check out what she had to say:

 

It seems like radical feminists still do not realize that far-left stances on issues like abortion are partly what lost Hillary Clinton the election. Continuing to prove this point are feminist writers Jill Filipovic and Lauren Duca, who also weighed in on Twitter: 

 

But it was not just feminists who were upset by the DCCC's statement. Former presidential candidate and master of strange noises Howard Dean had this to say about the DCCC announcement: 

Luján is smart to fund pro-life candidates. His party needs to pick up at least 24 seats if they want to regain control of the House in 2018, and Democrats need all the help they can get. But it seems like some are still choosing radical leftist stances over what actually resonates with the American people.
