Late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel isn’t a fan of Hillary Clinton’s excuses in her new book, “What Happened."
He said that reading the book would be “like reading a book about why the Titanic sank while you're sitting at the bottom of the ocean.”
“I was just thinking to myself this morning, I would love to relive that magical election of 2016,” Kimmel said sarcastically. “It’s like reading a book about why the Titanic sank while you're sitting at the bottom of the ocean.”
He criticized Clinton for blaming former Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and his supporters for causing “lasting damage” to her campaign.
Kimmel played a fake trailer, renaming Clinton's book, “It’s That F***** Bernie’s Fault.”
“At least she’s taking responsibility,” he joked.
In her book, Clinton blames Sanders, former FBI Director James Comey, Russia, certain members of the press, and Congress for her election loss.
She said that Sanders "isn't a Democrat" and so he had no business running to be the Democratic Party's presidential nominee.
The book comes out September 17, but we already get the gist of it.
