Left-wing broadcaster and avid anti-Trumper Keith Olbermann announced Tuesday  he's retiring from political commentary in his “The Resistance With Keith Olbermann” video segment for GQ.

“Have fun storming the castle, my work here is done," Olbermann said before signing off.

The Daily Caller reported the former MSNBC host complained that he has “not enjoyed a single minute” of the show -- which isn't entirely surprising, considering his 187 commentaries were devoted to whining about candidate-turned-President Donald Trump’s adventures in politics.

Olbermann, an outspoken Trump-hater, used the first half of the video segment to explain to audiences that Trump’s departure from office, through impeachment or resignation, was inevitable.

He expressed his parting attitudes this way:

I’ve made my point…I’d like to go back and enjoy some of my life again.

As, I’m certain, it has also been for you, for me it has been unadulterated pain and revulsion and horror.

The process has become nearly 24/7.

I am retiring from political commentary in all media venues.
