In 2018, West met with President Trump in the Oval Office to have a conversation on a wide range of topics from criminal justice reform to U.S. manufacturing.
According to NPR, Trump was asked whether West would make a good presidential candidate in the future to which he responded that he “could very well be”.
“Only after 2024,” West said.
