Colin Kaepernick still believes he has an outside shot of landing an NFL job.
The former San Francisco 49ers quarterback turned American-hating social justice activist has been keeping himself in good enough shape to be NFL-ready and could be ready to immediately guide a franchise to success, at least according to those in his camp.

Kaepernick has not seen NFL action since the 2016-2017 season.
This isn’t exactly a stirring or convincing snippet of what Kaepernick is doing to keep himself physically fit. Maybe he is in great shape, but come on, you’ve gotta do a better job at marketing yourself than showing just one drop back and roll out. At least show how much weight you can throw around in the gym.
Furthermore, Kaepernick’s lingering desire to lace up and play on Sundays comes as a bit of a shock. Remember, just five months ago, Kaepernick created a Netflix documentary in which he used a significant portion of his show to compare the NFL’s draft evaluating process to a slave auction.
Don’t forget, this is the same guy who, in 2019, changed the location of a workout that the NFL generously offered to put on at the Atlanta Falcons stadium (which nearly every NFL team planned on sending a scout to) to a small high school 60 miles away from Atlanta at the last minute.
It’s so hard to figure this guy out.
Every time he pops up in the news cycle, it’s usually for one of two reasons: he’s found some new thing to criticize as racist (usually something in the NFL), or to claim he’s ready for an NFL comeback. And then for some reason, he just assumes that his criticism of the NFL will go unnoticed, and that teams will automatically want him back.
His personality exudes toxicity and self-absorption, and teams would be wise to avoid him at all costs. While teams like the 49ers, New York Jets, and several others might be looking to fill a quarterback vacancy, Kaepernick would bring them into a cycle of dysfunctionality and not make them Super Bowl contenders.
