Joe Biden Thinks Obama Passed Immigration Policy...In 1976

Former Vice President and 2020 Democratic presidential contender Joe Biden isn’t sure what year it is. Or what decade.

Or, come to think of it, what century.

According to the 77-year-old presidential candidate, the Obama administration, in which he served eight years, was passing immigration policy back in the the 1970s.

"There's the Dreamers program, there's also a program that said we're not going to separate families, we're going to allow families to stay together while they go through the process, and the Court said you can't...you don't have the authority to do it that way. We did that in 1976," Biden claimed during a stopover in New Hampton, Iowa Thursday as part of his "No Malarkey" tour.

"And, I mean—I'm sorry, excuse me, backing up here—2014,” he corrected.

Biden has drawn criticism in recent months for seeming a bit...confused. During the same stopover, the former vice president fat-shamed a man who questioned his son Hunter's ties to a Ukrainian energy company, accusing him of being a "damn liar" before bizarrely challenging the man to a push-up contest.
