CNN’s Jim Acosta is back to his usual “look at me” schtick in which he makes bold claims about President Donald Trump in order to further his own career.

In a Monday segment with fellow CNN propagandist - excuse me, anchor -  Anderson Cooper, Acosta said the Trump “would have to have an out of body experience” in order to make any kind of impactful speech about racial injustice in the wake of the death of George Floyd.

“He [Trump] would have to have an out of body experience to deliver that kind of speech you’re talking about,” Acosta said in response to Cooper’s assertion that Trump has yet to address the nation in any kind of unifying way.

Acosta also repeatedly mentioned that Trump seems more interested in “taking political potshots” while Acosta himself delivered political potshot after political potshot towards the president during the segment.

“He’s largely sequestered inside his fortress [White House] right now,” Acosta said toward the beginning of his report.

Both Cooper and Acosta made a point of making the theme of the segment one which makes Trump seem like he’s avoided the topic of the unrest following the death of George Floyd. The problem with that is Trump did address the issue on May 28th and made a statement on June 1st. It’s not really Trump’s fault if the media choose to ignore his words.

“My administration is fully committed that, for George and his family, justice will be served,” Trump said. “He will not have died in vain.”

In the same speech, Trump also tried to calm and reassure the nation that he is working for them.

“The biggest victims of the rioting are peace-loving citizens in our poorest communities, and as their President, I will fight to keep them safe,” Trump also said on June 1st. “I will fight to protect you. I am your President of law and order, and an ally of all peaceful protesters.”

Trump’s attempt at helping the nation heal was also thwarted by Twitter when they removed a video he posted last Thursday because of a reported copyright claim. Facebook and Instagram have also removed the video.

On that note, here’s the video:

There’s no word yet on what Acosta has done for the black community.
