So the Wendy’s girl — ahem, excuse me — White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki took time away from condescending to reporters during Wednesday’s White House press briefing to make a claim that most Americans, regardless of political leanings, probably won’t even hear.

After being asked about President Joe Biden’s promise to have his regime spend trillions of dollars on climate change on top of the $1.9 trillion Chinese coronavirus “relief package,” Psaki was positively giddy about just how “progressive” the “relief bill” is in context of American history.

“It’s only day 49, Jonathan,” Psaki condescendingly responded before making her claim. “We’re about to pass a historic, the most progressive bill in American history. It’s passing today.”

This is what the politicians that Americans saw fit to elect have come up with as a “relief package" -- “The most progressive bill in American history.”

Why does the Chinese coronavirus relief package need to have any political leaning? It shouldn’t be “progressive” or “conservative” or whatever other label people might want to slap on it.

Honestly, the best “relief package” that any politician has come up with so far are from the governors of states that have decided to completely open up their states for business. Business is how you give people relief, not politics.

As CNSNews reported on March 3:

[Republican Wyoming Sen. John] Barrasso said that Rep. Debbie Dingell [D-Mich.], who appeared on the show [Fox Business’ “Mornings with Maria Bartiromo”] Monday, had nothing to say when host Maria Bartiromo pointed out that only $1 out of $11 of the COVID relief bill’s spending actually goes towards coronavirus, “and you’re still keeping the school closed.”

The people in Washington D.C. have become — and most likely have been in the last 100 years — tone deaf to the wants and needs of the people. They simply hold office to serve themselves.

It’s disgusting, and people should be disgusted by it.
