Oh, that awkward moment when you’re speaking out against something...while using that very thing.
Such was the case Tuesday in Texas, when rising democratic star (don’t ask me why) Beto O’Rourke decried the usefulness of a border fence – while standing behind a fence separating himself from his adoring fans.
Check it out:
🚨BETO USED A WALL AT ANTI-WALL RALLY 🚨
— Benny (@bennyjohnson) February 13, 2019
In order to protect himself & control who entered backstage at his anti-wall rally - Beto used A WALL.
While being protected BY A WALL Beto said, “Walls do not save lives. Walls end lives.”
This is beyond parodypic.twitter.com/L6GAtBeIym
At that same rally, Beto (or is it Francis?) declared that America should “welcome [immigrants] with open arms,” declaring, “We will not believe that walls can or should keep them out.”
""We know that walls do not save lives; walls end lives," he yelled to the applauding masses.
Meanwhile, plenty of Beto-maniacs were busy listening from behind a fence erected to “keep out” those he didn’t want backstage in his VIP section.
