Curtis James Jackson III, better known as the rapper “50 Cent,” is defending his endorsement of President Donald Trump after critics slammed him for it, saying he’d be “20 Cent” if Joe Biden gets elected and implements his tax plan.

WHAT THE F---! (VOTE ForTRUMP) IM OUT," he wrote in the caption of a post he shared to Instagram earlier this week showing that some New Yorkers would be taxed at 62 percent under Biden’s plan.

"F--- NEW YORK The KNICKS never win anyway. I don’t care Trump doesn’t like black people 62% are you out of ya f---ing mind,” he added.

And, of course, the hate began pouring in, prompting the rapper to follow up with another tweet doubling down on his position.

“Yeah, i don’t want to be 20cent. 62% is a very, very, bad idea,” the hip hop celebrity tweeted.

50 Cent isn't the only rapper to catch flak for not toeing the left-wing political line. Earlier this week, fellow rapper and actor Ice Cube found himself on liberals' bad side when he defending his own efforts working with the Trump administration on a plan to improve black communities, saying that both campaigns had reached out to him for help but that only Trump had agreed to work with him before the election.
