Its was yet another heated debate on The View Tuesday, when Megan McCain absolutley embarrassed Joy Behar over the Iran deal.
The debate started during a segment on President Trump’s willingness to meet with Iranian dictator Hassan Rouhani and eventually turned into a discussion on Trump's overall foreign policy.
Behar of course, used this opportunity to bash Trump, who she says has “the brain of a toddler.”
“He’s like a child, you know? When you talk to a child, they’re only in the moment. You say, ‘What happened at school yesterday?’ They don’t want to talk about that. That’s yesterday. ‘What’s going to happen tomorrow?’ I don’t know, and I don’t care. They’re only in the moment. He’s got the brain of a toddler,” Behar said.
“Do you want to go through the Iran deal?” McCain responded. “Because the Iran deal is the number-one thing that I was petrified by — by the Obama administration. The idea that we could ever trust a country - they are the people that go out in the streets and scream ‘death to America,’ ‘death to Israel,’ write ‘death to Israel’ on the missiles that they drop.” she continued.
Behar then tried to defend Obama’s deal with the Iranian government, saying it was his way of “verifying.”
McCain was having none of it.
“I’m sorry, that’s such ridiculous spin. It was ridiculous spin back then. We cannot trust Iran ever,” McCain said.
She then went on to point out the clear hypocrisy on the left.
“So there’s no room for diplomacy with Kim Jong-Un when Trump does it but there is room for diplomacy for when Obama does it with Iran? We have to be consistent,” McCain insisted.
Behar’s facial expression says it all.
