First he has an alleged relationship with a Chinese spy. Then he makes a theological statement that ignores 2,000 years of universal church doctrine?

Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) believes that God is female - or at the very least that's what he publicly alluded to in an interview on Saturday.

The polarizing U.S. congressman addressed the Senate impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump, concluding in a MSNBC interview:

The choice was, well, do we chase those people not knowing what they’re going to say to the courts for years or do we go forward with the powerful, thundering case that we have. And also knowing that [Republican Sen.] Mitch McConnell was already telling us that he believed the challenge was a jurisdictional one, so we could have called God herself and the Republicans weren’t going to be willing to convict. So, we’re proud of the case we put forward.

Because obviously Jesus didn’t actually mean it when teaching His followers to pray, “Our Father, who art in Heaven...”

Clearly, a congressman obsessed with impeachment would know more about God than Billy Graham or Saint Thomas Aquinas.

That “powerful, thundering case” failed to convict Trump of anything. Like Swalwell’s religious beliefs, their case ended up being laughable at best.
