Hillary Clinton responded to suspicious package with explosives sent to her residence in Chappaqua, N.Y., Tuesday night by sewing further discord and suggesting President Trump and Republicans are to blame.

She said while speaking at a fundraiser in Florida that she is grateful to the Secret Service for intercepting the package, “But it is a troubling time, isn’t it?” Clinton asked.

“We are fine, thanks to the men and women of the Secret Service, who intercepted the package addressed to us long before it made its way to our home,” said Clinton. “Every day we are grateful for their service and commitment and obviously never more than today. But it is a troubling time, isn’t it? And it’s a time of deep divisions. And we have to do everything we can to bring our country together.”

“We also have to elect candidates who will try to do the same,” she added, implying Republicans in office do not.

Clinton also mentioned how she's worried about "what kind of world will be waiting" for her grandchildren when they're older.

"I worry about the direction of our country," said Clinton. "I worry about what kind of world will be waiting for them."

She went on to praise the Florida Democratic candidates running for election in November.

An investigation is underway after Secret Service intercepted suspicious packages with explosives mailed to Clinton, former President Obama, former U.S. attorney Eric Holder, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D), and CNN.

The package at CNN's New York headquarters was addressed to former CIA director John Brennan.

There are likely other packages as reports continue to come in and authorities search for the individual or individuals responsible.
