Ted Cruz showed his funny side during an appearance on “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon in a skit of a mock phone call between him and Fallon’s Trump impersonation.

Fallon’s “Trump” called Cruz to help him prepare for his interview on “The Tonight Show,” while poking fun at Cruz’s now-famous  “New York values” comments. Fallon also mocked Trump's hands and alluding to his, ahem, “Trump Tower.”

When “Trump” challenged Cruz about what he meant by “New York values,” Cruz said:

“Look, Donald, I’m not going to pander to New Yorkers,” he said. “I love New York City. It is the greatest city in the world with the best looking audiences in the entire world.”

“So when I said ‘New York values’, I was merely trying to say that I value New York. Except I was saying it backwards, the way Yoda would say it.”
