Joe Biden says he won’t commit to his running mate being a woman of color, but he'd pick Michelle Obama if she were interested.
“Oh, I’d take her in a heartbeat,” Biden told Pittsburgh’s KDKA on Monday when asked about speculation about Obama.
“She’s brilliant. She knows the way around. She is a really fine woman.”
However, Biden said he doesn’t think she’s interested in living near the White House again.
Biden says his campaign is in the process of reviewing potential running mates, and that he’s committed to choosing a woman. It just isn't likely to be Michelle Obama.
