HBO's Bill Maher Mocks Covington Teens With Sex Abuse Jokes: 'I Do Not Get What Catholic Priests See In These Kids'

7.1k views

HBO's Bill Maher mocked high school teens at Covington Catholic High School on his late night talk show Saturday in perhaps the sickest way possible, going so far as to joke about child rape by saying he “doesn’t get what Catholic priests see in these kids.”

Despite multiple cell phone videos vindicating these kids, Maher still took the predictable left-wing tack of slamming a group of Covington Catholic boys for allegedly mocking a Native American protester in front of the Lincoln Memorial in D.C. over a week ago.

“I blame lead poisoning, and bad parenting,” Maher began, much to the amusement of his audience.

“And oh yeah, I blame that f***ing kid. What a little prick. Smirk face. Like that’s not a d*ck move at any age to stick your face in this elderly man,” he continued, repeating the long-debunked myth that Nick Sandmann, the teen caught on camera "smirking" at Native American protester Nathan Phillips, was the instigator who started this whole media-sensationalized stand-off.

“I don’t spend a lot of time, I must tell you, around Catholic school children, but I do not get what Catholic priests see in these kids,” Maher added to even more applause, mocking children who’ve been sexually abused by church leaders.

Check out the clip here (fair warning, though - it contains some pretty foul language):

Since leftists like Maher have taken to social media and the television airwaves to dog pile on the Covington Catholic teens, the school has had to take precautions against threats of violence against the institution, while individual students say they've been harassed and sent death threats online.
