On “Hannity” Monday night, Fox News’ host Sean Hannity discussed the protests and violence that have erupted following the presidential election.

He argued that the “abusively biased” media are to blame for the ways people reacted after Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump won over his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton.

“Their blatant disregard for the truth has now created this all-out anarchy,” said Hannity. "What we're seeing now is what they purposefully, in many ways, I argue, created."

"The outrage that we now see against President-elect Donald Trump and his supporters, this is getting dangerous and extremely scary,” he said.

He then showed a video of a middle-aged white man getting beaten up at a traffic stop for being a Trump supporter – except, his attackers just assumed he was a Trump supporter based on the color of his skin.

“Can you imagine if that happened to a person who voted for Hillary Clinton?” asked Hannity. “Democrats, the media, they would be up in arms… But because the man pulled the lever for Trump, they don’t seem to care.”

He went on to say that The New York Times, CNN, and "the rest of the liberal media" were "so wrong" on Trump and the election, having called his chances to win the presidency "an impossibility" before he even decided to run.

"They were the ones – going back to before Trump decided to run – that said this is an impossibility," said Hannity. "They got it wrong from the get-go.”

“The abusively biased press, well, they have created what I call an informational crisis here in America," he argued. "And in doing so, by the way, they did you, the American people, a great disservice.”

"Back in 2008, right here on this program, I said journalism was dead because of the free press and the pass they gave President Obama," said Hannity. "But this election, we found out it's far worse than we have ever imagined."
