Those Palestinian “protesters” that the media reported were killed by Israelis were back at it again Tuesday.

The terrorist groups Hamas and Islamic Jihad unleashed a “barrage” of fire into Israel forcing "hundreds of thousands” of Israelis into bunkers to avoid getting caught in the attack. A day after their attacks, Hamas declared a cease-fire with Israel.

According to the Daily Wire:

On Tuesday, Hamas fired an enormous wave of mortars into Israel, striking an Israeli kindergarten but causing no injuries. Hundreds of thousands of Israelis were forced to bunkers to weather the attack. That wave of mortars followed an attempt over the weekend by Islamic Jihad terrorists to cut through the Gaza border in order to murder Israelis in their beds; during the chase, terrorists fired at Israeli troops. One terrorist was killed, and another injured. The Israeli Defense Forces also announced that several days ago, Hamas attempted to fly a drone loaded with explosives over the border.

After all of that - and a subsequent response from Israel in the form of air strikes - Hamas quickly declared the cease-fire. The New York Times reported that Hamas has instructed militants in Gaza to adhere to the cease-fire as long as Israel does the same.

Basically, "we’re going to bomb the hell out of you and then declare a cease-fire so that you look bad if you retaliate."

While Israel did initially respond with airstrikes on Hamas and Islamic Jihad facilities, the targeting of civilian buildings by Hamas in Israel more than warranted the reaction.

Despite the supposed cease-fire, tensions in the region have regained their previous intensity and both sides will never back down.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tweeted out a strong statement against Hamas and anyone that would attack Israel:

Netanyahu2

With opponents that call for the destruction of the State of Israel, Netanyahu and the Israeli people have their hands full. Although, how is that different from any other year that Hamas and the Palestinians have attempted wipe Israel from the face of the Earth?
