Republican lawmakers have had the patience of Job with some of reporters in the media, who half the time - and that's being courteous - answer their own questions or ask leading questions all in an effort to hold true to their narratives. Three GOP lawmakers, Reps. Mike Johnson (La.), Elise Stefanik (N.Y.) and Lee Zeldin (N.Y.) had about enough with one reporter on Tuesday who basically attempted to hijack their impeachment press conference.

NBC News correspondent Heidi Przybyla was asking the members of Congress questions about Ukraine and corruption, namely what specifically was the corruption President Donald Trump was worried about prior to his phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Przybyla repeatedly interrupted Zeldin who kept attempting to answer Przybyla's own questions. Stefanik and Johnson stepped in at times to try and quash what Przybyla had turned into a confrontation. Zeldin held his own by asking the reporter whether she would like the microphone for herself, while also looking straight at the media and telling them that they've been "doing a great job as Schiff's shills."

"You’re doing a great job as Schiff's shills,” Zeldin said as he was also being interrupted by other reporters. “You’re actually insulting your audience.”

"You're answering your own questions," Zeldin also said to Przybyla at another point in the conflict.

Towards the end of the interaction, Stefanik appeared to have enough of Przybyla's grandstanding. After Stefanik laid the factual smackdown while looking straight at Przybyla, the New York congresswoman gave the reporter some advice.

"Go back, make sure your audience understands those facts," Stefanik said, "Understand those facts."
