Sitting alongside her daughter Chelsea, Hillary Clinton told People Magazine that people need to "get over" former Vice President Joe Biden's touchy-feely behavior with women and focus on getting President Trump out of office.

“I’ve heard a little about that — I don’t think that Twitterverse is the American electorate, but there are lots of voices that say lots of things,” Clinton said as she addressed people’s views on Biden's handsy tendencies. “He is a thoroughly decent human being who has served our country honorably and well for decades.”

As People reports:

Multiple women have said Biden’s boundary-blurring physical affection toward them over the years, including back touches and kisses on the head, was disrespectful and uncomfortable.

Some of his comments on the campaign trail — such as calling an event moderator who was asking questions about his voting record “lovely” and a “real sweetheart” and telling a teenage girl’s brothers to “keep the guys away” — have also raised eyebrows in a race with multiple women running for president.

Hillary pointed out that no matter who runs for office they will be scrutinized heavily and suggested this was the case with the former vice president under Barack Obama.

“You can take any person who sticks their little head above the parapet and says, ‘I’m going to run for president’ and find something that — an annoying habit or other kind of behavior that people are going to pick apart and disagree with,” she said. “People who are putting themselves forward, which believe me, is a really difficult process to undergo — should be judged on the totality of their lives and their service. And we can pick apart anybody. That’s a great spectator sport.”

Clinton proceeded to do just what she was complaining about people doing to her and other politicians and “picked apart” President Donald Trump for being…the president.

“But this man who’s there in the Oval Office right now poses a clear and present danger to the future of the Unites States,” she said. “So, get over it! Look at the candidates. Look at what they’ve accomplished. Look at what they fought for and vote for anybody to get rid of Donald Trump.”

Hillary neglected to give the president the kind of treatment she said the Democratic presidential nominee’s  (specifically Biden) deserved, and basically showed the Democrat’s ultimate goal is to get rid of President Trump by any means necessary, regardless of what accomplishments he has made.

The former secretary of state also made sure to mention she would try to do “everything” she could to help the nominee win.
