Sexism is over, folks!

Thanks to the social justice warriors over at Hasbro, we no longer have to worry about offensive gender norms, sex-based bigotry or the Oppressive Social Constructs of The Patriarchy.

Or, apparently, common sense.

After more than 70 years, the toy company has officially dropped the “Mr.” from its iconic “Mr. Potato Head” doll. The manufacturer will instead use the gender-neutral name “Potato Head," a change that will be reflected on the toy’s packaging later this year.

According to the AP, Hasbro blamed the change on the company wanting to give the famous plaything a “modern makeover.”

This despite the fact that Hasbro had already long marketed a “Mrs. Potato Head” to accompany its male counterpart. There's no word yet on whether the toy company plans to drop the "Mrs." from the female version of the doll.
