VIDEO: Former Mexican Pres. Beats Open a Trump Piñata

Ever seen a former head of state beat open a piñata of another potential head of state? Well, now you have.

Former Mexican President Vicente Fox has been nothing if not clear in his disdain of Donald Trump, in the past referring to him as “crazy," a “false prophet," and even managing to throw in a comparison to Hitler for good measure. Now, however, Fox is taking his dislike of the Republican nominee to a much more physical level.

Appearing on the Los Angeles-based show “El Show de Piolín,” Fox was visiting a taco truck when he saw the Trump piñata and started to punch it right away. It wasn’t long before someone handed the former Mexican president a stick to help in breaking the piñata, much to the delight of the show’s host and onlookers. When he finally did break it, Fox commented that it was “empty, totally empty… He doesn’t have a brain.”

Hardy har har.

This certainly isn’t the first time that the former president has gone a little off the deep end. Twice, he has appeared on the Univision show run by liberal reporter/activist Jorge Ramos, where Fox said both times “I’m not going to pay for that f***ing wall!”

I would say something about the bar going lower, but breaking open a piñata of someone one doesn’t like has set that bar pretty low already.

For his part, Ramos is another uber-liberal who usually tries to hide behind the veil of “journalism” but hasn’t even bothered to do so this election cycle. He first made headlines for speaking out of turn at a Trump press conference and then complaining about it to every camera he could sit in front of. Lately, he’s been echoing Fox’s criticisms of Trump as well, even calling out current President of Mexico Enrique Peña Nieto for daring to meet with someone who could potentially be the next president of the United States.

Ramos, however, hasn’t said anything about Fox’s piñata beating. So having the audacity meet with a someone who he might have to work with in the future is unacceptable, but beating up a piñata of the same person by a former head of state is totally fine? Got it.
