Former DNC Chair Blasts GOP Chair: ‘Go To Hell’

In an interview with Fox News Tuesday, former Democratic National Committee Chair Donna Brazile gave a fiery response to a clip of Republican National Committee Chair Ronna McDaniel commenting on the possibility of a brokered Democratic National Convention, unapologetically declaring that McDaniel can “go to hell.”

In the clip, McDaniel talks about the effect a brokered convention might have on the presidential campaign of Vermont senator Bernie Sanders.

“It does depend on how big the lead that Sanders takes out of California is, if he picks up a huge portion of delegates, but I don’t see anyone getting out soon, and it’s leading towards potentially a brokered convention, which will be rigged against Bernie if those super delegates have their way on that second vote.”

In response, Brazile comes out swinging, criticizing McDaniel’s assumptions about Democratic process, noting the seeming lack of process on the part of Republicans, and telling Republicans to “stay the hell out of our race.”

“First of all, I want to talk to my Republicans: first of all, stay the hell out of our race. Stay the hell out of our race. I get sick and tired, Ed and Sandra, of listening to Republicans telling me and the Democrats about our process. First of all, they don’t have a process. They are cancelling primaries. They have winner take all. They don’t have the kind of democracy that we see on the Democratic side. And for people to use Russian talking points to try and sow division among Americans-that is stupid. So Ronna, go to hell.”

Many responses to Brazile’s comments are calling for Fox to fire her as a contributor.
