Former Attorney General Eric Holder Claims 'It Is Necessary' To Pack Supreme Court

Leftists were infuriated when former President Donald Trump swore in Amy Coney Barrett as a Supreme Court Justice - though why they view lawfully fulfilling an important presidential duty as a gross misuse of power is beyond most reasonable people.

But former United States Attorney General Eric Holder is beyond reason.

According to The Daily Wire, Holder is determined to pack the Supreme Court, and not even his own hypocrisy could stop him from proclaiming “The Republicans have abused their power to give themselves an unfair advantage.”

“It is necessary and totally appropriate to add seats," he added.

So exercising the presidential function of appointing a justice is suddenly an abuse of power and “an unfair advantage,” while adding multiple new justices for no good reason other than to quash the current conservative majority, despite Democrats holding both the House, the White House, and half the Senate, is somehow “necessary and totally appropriate?”

Holder had also stated that “It is painfully clear Democrats and progressives are uncomfortable with the acquisition and use of power, while Republicans and conservatives never have been. Our courts badly need reforms.”

Of course he'd think a Supreme Court with a conservative majority would need “reforms.” Probably any entity that doesn’t adhere to Mr. Holder’s opinions must need “reforms.” It is ironic that in his quest to negate conservative power on the judiciary branch by way of court packing, Holder is in fact acquiring power for Democrats and progressives. As a Democrat, he doesn’t sound “uncomfortable with the acquisition and use of power” at all.

Neither does the rest of his party, who are using their power to try and impeach a former president.

However, not every leftist would agree with Holder’s views. The late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg rejected the idea of court packing when it was proposed by Democrats in 2019, saying that “Nine seems to be a good number. It’s been that way for a long time. I think it was a bad idea when President Franklin Roosevelt tried to pack the Court.”

Too bad Holder doesn’t agree.
