FLOTUS to Media, Celebs: Mock Me All You Want - 'It Doesn't Hurt'

First Lady Melania Trump in an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity aired on Wednesday had a message for “opportunists” who use her name or her family’s name to “advance themselves”:

“It doesn’t hurt.”

She said that the real problem is that “they’re writing history and it’s not correct.”

“What has been the hardest thing that you have to deal with?” Hannity asked.

“I would say the opportunists who are using my name or my family name to advance themselves, from comedians to journalists to performers, book writers --” Trump replied.

“Does it hurt?” Hannity asked Trump.

“It doesn’t hurt,” Trump responded, firmly. “The problem is they’re writing history and it’s not correct.”

Mrs. Trump also talked about how she does what she thinks is “right,” regardless of what her critics or the media will have to say about it.

“I do what I think is right,” she said. “I know I will get the criticism – from the public or from the media – but I will do what is right and what I feel is right for the country and for the people.”

She continued, “That’s why I say I want to stay true to myself and listen to myself and what to do and what is right, what is wrong and live a meaningful life every day.”

The First Lady has often been ridiculed by comedians, celebrities, and the media. She’s had to deal with public figures and even members of the press using pictures from her modeling career as justification to degrade her as a human being, not to mention the endless gossip and crass jokes suggesting issues in her marriage to President Donald Trump. Even her choices of Christmas decorations for the White House this year came under fire, as if the media had nothing else to report on.

Trump always has a classy response to her critics, however. It doesn’t look like they’re going to “break” her anytime soon.
