The Communists are coming! The Communists are coming!
Radical far-Left “activists” typically line-up on the ideological meter as Democratic Socialists, Socialists or Communists. This is nothing new. But, when activists — who speak at the same events as actual members of Congress — espouse Communist doctrine in a call to stop a Supreme Court nominee from being confirmed in order to continue killing babies, then Leftists have once again lost the plot.
Brittany Packnett, a far-Left activist who was one of the people who organized the Ferguson protests/riots in 2014, spoke on a panel to oppose the nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the highest court in the land in Washington D.C. on Wednesday during a stop on the “Rise Up for Roe Tour.” The event was also attended by Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.).
Cute name. “Rise Up for Population Control” sounds like it would be more appropriate.
Speaking of population control, after Gillibrand left the event Packnett, was speaking to the audience when she decided to go full Karl Marx. Never go full Karl Marx.
“This is the most important part,” Packnett yelled out for other to chant. “We have nothing to lose but our chains.”
It’s the second half of what Packnett said that is raising some eyebrows.

The phrase derives from Marx’s 1848 Manifesto, which famously concludes, “Let the ruling classes tremble at a Communistic revolution. The proletarians have nothing to lose but their chains. They have a world to win. Working Men of All Countries, Unite!”[…]
The language Packnett choose here has been modernized — and perhaps tailored for the overwhelmingly upper middle class attendees at Rise up for Roe — to “We must love and support one another. We have nothing to lose but our chains!” But the origin of the cry is unmistakable.
Didn’t this country fight against Communism for decades? How is this an accepted part of American society? I’m not saying people should be stopped from what they’re saying. All I’m saying is that people aren’t taking these things as seriously as they probably should.
Let people like this talk. But, be aware of what they’re saying and why they’re saying it.
