EU Official Proved Nigel Farage's Anti-EU Points By Censoring the End of His Final European Parliament Address

Friday is the day! It's the day that the British people gain their independence from the oppressive European Union (EU). And if you ever needed any further proof that those in charge of the EU are authoritarian crybabies who are so dumb that they prove the points of their critics, this is it.

Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage has been lecturing the EU for years about how truly awful they are as a governing body. On Wednesday, the day Farage has been waiting for finally came — the day he could finally and officially tell them to piss off.

Farage gave his final EU address, and leave it to the leadership in the EU to immediately prove his point on why leaving — for every European country — is the right move.

“I know you’re going to miss us,” Farage said just before the entire U.K. delegation began waving mini-Union Jack flags. “I know you want to ban our national flags. But, we’re to wave you goodbye, and will look forward in the future to working with you as sovereign..."

The EU wasn’t very happy about it. In fact, European Parliament Vice-President Mairead McGuinness was so angry she cut off Farage’s microphone and told the delegation to leave and to take their flags with them before Farage could finish the sentence above.

"Sit down, put your flags away," McGuinness told the British delegation. "You're leaving, and take them [flags] with you."

But, so what? Britain isn’t their concern anymore. Keep waving those flags. What are they going to do? Kick you out?

Here’s video of Farage’s address, along with McGuinness salty tantrum:

Aww. Boo-hoo!

And did you all notice the self-righteous indignation McGuinness displayed when she brought up Farage’s use of the word “hate?”

“We don’t need these institutions and all of this power,” Farage said before saying McGuinness’ no-no word. “And I can promise you, both in UKIP and indeed in the Brexit Party, we love Europe. We just hate the European Union. It’s as simple as that.”

“The word ‘hate’ was used in the last contribution,” McGuinness said after intolerantly telling the British to leave. “And I really think, given what we listened to prior to this that we should not hate anyone or any nation or any people.”

Puh-lease, lady. Save your faux outrage.

Prior to Farage’s speech, 89-year-old Auschwitz survivor Liliana Segre had made a speech recounting her life story. That was what McGuinness referred to when she spoke about “what we listened to prior to this.”

Leave it to a globalist to show hatred towards a group of people celebrating their independence before virtue signaling their own outrage at a word which they’re misrepresenting by using the story of a Holocaust survivor as ammunition. Sick and sad.

You can watch Farage’s full speech above, but I’ll leave you with a portion of the words Farage used in his final EU address.

“There is a battle going on in the West and elsewhere,” Farage said. “It is globalism against populism. And you [EU members] may loathe populism, but I’ll tell you a funny thing — it’s becoming very popular.”
