Elon Musk Jabs at Facebook & Zuckerberg Following Capitol Riots

One thing for sure is that NO ONE knows exactly what happened — the entire story — leading up to, during and after the incident at the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday. That isn’t preventing some from pointing fingers at anyone they can in order to place blame at someone or some group’s feet. That being said, it’s perfectly fair to call a person or entity out for leading the narrative that lead to the continued unrest that has plagued the U.S. since it really ramped up in 2014.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk took a thinly-veiled jab at Facebook and its CEO Mark Zuckerberg on Wednesday, tweeting out a meme of what’s called the “domino effect.”

Think the slippery slope or rolling a snowball to make a snowman. Once you get the ball the rolling, it’s very difficult to undo what has been done that led up to that point.

Musk noted that the beginning of the downward slope was Zuckerberg’s original intent for what is now called Facebook, then called FaceMash. Zuckerberg, as represented in the 2010 film “The Social Network,” developed FaceMash as a way to rate college women based on their looks. It was also apparently a method for Zuckerberg to get back at girls who didn’t want to date him.

Think your typical angry incel.

Anyway, Musk continued the domino effect all the way until the latter pieces where he quoted chief national correspondent for The New York Times Magazine, Mark Leibovich.

“The Capitol seems to be under the control of a man in a viking hat,” Leibovich said.

Musk is essentially pointing a veiled finger at Zuckerberg for creating the storm that led up to the events that occurred at the Capitol.
