Hundreds of supporters lined the roadside as Donald Trump arrived in Palm Beach, Florida, on Wednesday after his final departure from the White House.
One supporter told NBC 6, “We are here to support our President, and to show him his sacrifice was not in vain,” Another supporter told WPTV: “I am almost in denial… I don’t want to believe that today could be his last day.”
Trump’s convoy noticeably slowed down as he waved to his supporters on the way to his Mar-a-Lago resort, where he announced he will now reside.
That’s not slowmo, President Trump’s motorcade is slowly making its way east on Southern Boulevard to Mar-a-Lago. As he went by he was waving at supporters @WPLGLocal10 pic.twitter.com/Oc59AlsOuc

Trump flew to Florida following his farewell gathering in D.C. He and the former first lady decided not to attend President Biden's inauguration. Instead, Trump spent his last hour in office surrounded by his supporters.
