Don Lemon Says If You're Upset About His Racist Remarks, You're 'Missing The Point'

Upset that CNN’s Don Lemon branded right-wing “white men” as the “biggest terror threat” facing America today? A little annoyed that he then called for a “white guy ban” and demanded we “do something about them”?

According to Lemon, if you’re upset at his open bigotry, it’s because you’re too stupid to get his point.

Addressing his controversial and unashamedly racist statements Tuesday, Lemon defended himself Wednesday night by saying…well, that basically he’s right, and you’re an idiot.

"Well, tonight I want to talk about some uncomfortable truths: the truth about who really carries out domestic terror attacks in this country," he started.

"I made some comments about that in a conversation with Chris. I said that the biggest terror threat in this country comes from radicals on the far right, primarily white men. That angered some people. Let’s put emotion aside and look at the cold hard facts," he continued before prattling off some numbers blaming white men for domestic terrorism incidents.

"So people who are angry about what I said are missing the entire point. We don't need to worry about people who are thousands of miles away. The biggest threats are home-grown," he added.

Of course, it’s a little hard to figure how anyone could’ve missed Lemon’s blatantly anti-white point. After all, here’s what the guy had told fellow CNN host Chris Cuomo just 24 hours before:

We have to stop demonizing people and realize the biggest terror threat in this country is white men, most of them radicalized to the right, and we have to start doing something about them. There is no travel ban on them. There is no ban on, you know, they had the Muslim ban, there is no ‘white guy ban.’ So what do we do about that?”

CNN, true to form, has said they won't be commenting on their host's racially charged statements.
