We need to see more things like this. You don’t always have to agree with someone to give them your support. If the person you don’t agree with isn’t actually harming anyone, or calling for harm to come to someone, where’s the problem? Not everybody’s going to agree on everything, and it’s pointless to try and change the minds of some people who aren’t open to change, so let’s just agree to disagree and move on with our day.

Stand-up comedy legend Dave Chappelle sat down for an interview with CNN’s Van Jones, which is scheduled to air on Saturday at 7 p.m., and spoke of his support for hip-hop mogul Kanye West’s right to say what he believes.

“I think the angle he’s seeing things from is about the division that he sees,” Chappelle said. “And he’s not inconsistent with what he’s saying.”

While Chappelle did say that West “shouldn’t say all that s***,” he also said he supports the rapper despite his disagreement with some of the things West says.

“I’m not mad at Kanye. That’s my brother — I love him, I support him,” Chappelle continued, according to CNN. “But, you know, I don’t have to agree with everything he says…I just trust him as a person of intent. But yeah, he shouldn’t say all that s***.”

The disingenuous part of this story comes in where CNN is involved. Instead of focusing on Chappelle’s statements of support for West, despite Chappelle disagreeing with West, CNN chose to frame Chappelle’s comments as a disagreement without also noting his support for West in their headline.

The title of the CNN article? “Dave Chappelle: Kanye West ‘shouldn’t say all that s***’ supporting Trump."

Just take a look at CNN's headline compared to Breitbart's:

BreitbartTitle

CNNTitle

I think the contrast between the two titles speaks volumes.

CNN’s hatred of anything related to President Trump goes so deep, that I honestly don’t know if you can consider them a reputable news source anymore. They have gone on racist attack after racist attack against West, all in the name of discrediting a president they didn’t choose.

In the past few days, CNN has tried their damnedest to defame West, calling him a “token negro” who "can't read" and comparing his meeting with Trump to a “minstrel show.”

If that’s not racism, I don’t know what is.

This is a vote of confidence for Chappelle, who despite his disagreements with West’s political commentary, still gives his support for someone who speaks about what they truly believe in.

This is also a condemnation of CNN for showing their true colors as race-baiting racists who consistently and outwardly attempt to remove a sitting president from office through intentionally misleading rhetoric.
